The Hollywood Stars beat the Syracuse Scorpions, 7-1, at Hollywood Grounds. Hollywood second baseman Paul Ainsworth banged out 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. The losses continue to add up for Syracuse, having now dropped 9 straight.

Elijah Moody hit a 2-run home run off Ivan Medina in the bottom of the first, which put the Stars ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Moody had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
