Stars Need Extra Innings to Top Sea Dogs, 7-6
The Hollywood Stars weathered a fine game by Charleston right fielder Nelson Ziersch to upend the Sea Dogs, 7-6, at Hollywood Grounds. Ziersch went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The third-place Stars lifted their record to 33-38.

The Stars got a clutch hit from designated hitter Eric Lilienthal. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to right-center, to win the game for the Stars.

"This place was electric at the end," Lilienthal said.
