Austin Desperados starter Felipe Moreno turned in a top-notch performance against the New York Nightmare at Dell Diamond. The result was a win for the Desperados, 5-1. Picking up the save was Chris Oren, his 2nd. Austin, having won 11 in a row, is now 40-31.

Moreno gave Austin a solid start. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 6 innings.

"Felipe is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Austin manager Tim Ward.
