Fire Send Hollywood Home with 4-3 Loss
The San Francisco Fire picked up a win at San Francisco Grounds, dropping the Hollywood Stars, 4-3. Kyle Griffin was the difference-maker. San Francisco occupies third place in the National Conference West Division at 68-94.

Jared Priest had a big 2-run double for the Fire in the bottom of the second inning. With San Francisco leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Albert Fabian, who finished 4th in the AC in wins with 17 in 2019, and swatted a double to right. It was his 30th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fire ahead, 3-0.

Priest said his team "played with determination."
