Vancouver Gets 7-4 Win
|
Vancouver starter Antonio Enriquez pitched well against the San Francisco Fire at San Francisco Grounds. The left-hander led his team to a win, 7-4. Vancouver now owns a record of 67-94.
Vancouver won the game in part because of Richard Ulmer. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Mounties ahead, 2-1. For the game, Ulmer had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"Solid performance from our side," said Mounties manager Zaire Hyde.
