The 5-4 Sonoma win over London was due largely to Mike Lynn. The Scorpions shortstop was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. Sonoma pitcher Jose Ceballos got the win, upping his record to 10-5. Mike Mudge got the loss. The save went to Matt Schmidt, his 2nd this season.

It could have been a different outcome for Sonoma, had it not been for Sam Foster, the 27-year old catcher . Foster contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Sonoma up, 5-3.

"We take it day by day here," said Lynn, "and today was a good one for us."

The Scorpions lead the Western AA Coastal Division by a game.
