At Firecats Ballpark, the Miami Boll Weevils and Hialeah Firecats were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Hialeah Firecats beat the Miami Boll Weevils, 7-5, at Firecats Ballpark. Hialeah right fielder Dan Harmon had an outstanding performance. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Darius Timmons collected save number 5.

With Hialeah leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Harmon hit a curveball from Brett Emma for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Firecats ahead, 5-1.

"It never gets old," said Harmon. "Winning, that is."

Hialeah, with the win, climbs to 32-69.
