Andrews Helps Vermont Cruise to 10-2 Win
Conditions were not ideal but Vermont and Cornwall were able to put their game in the books.

The Vermont Milkmen dumped the Cornwall Royals, 10-2, in large part due to second baseman Dustin Andrews. On the day, Andrews was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Milkmen. Julio Mora picked up the win, lifting his record to 5-8 on the season. He struck out 8 and walked 4 in 7 innings, while yielding 2 runs.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Andrews hit a 2-run home run off Amari Allard. It propelled the Milkmen into the lead, 4-2.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Cornwall manager Ivan Cabrera. "We got trounced."

Vermont is now 37-63.
