Cleveland second baseman Mike Townsend had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Detroit Giants, 7-4. The winner in relief was Chi-yong Har. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 10-8. Emmanuel Mendoza recorded the save, making him 18 for 24.

Townsend had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-1 fastball from Justin Wilk, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Brawlers a 7-4 lead. It was the 24th home run of the year for Townsend.

"Winning never gets dull," said Townsend.

The Brawlers raised their record to 66-95.
