Bombardiers Earn 7-5 Win Against Cavalry
The Cincinnati Bombardiers downed the St. Louis Cavalry, 7-5, in 12 innings at Cavalry Ballpark. Micah Clark led the way, going 1-for-1 for Cincinnati. Mike Garst, 1-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. The 5th-place Bombardiers have won 4 in a row.

Ken Kirkland came through with a big-time hit for Cincinnati. The shortstop smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 7-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
