Cincinnati Bombardiers starter Steve Dunn had all his pitches working at Cavalry Ballpark. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-1 Cincinnati win over the St. Louis Cavalry. In 8.1 innings, Dunn surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. The last-place Cavalry have lost 6 consecutive games.

Ken Kirkland had a big 2-run double for the Bombardiers in the top of the third inning. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bombardiers ahead, 3-0.
