The Cornwall Royals topped the Hialeah Firecats, 6-4, with youngster Aaron Kline playing a key role. Kline was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Royals in the win. With the victory, the Royals upped their record to 51-48.

With Cornwall trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Kline hit a slider from Adam Mahoney for a 3-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Royals ahead, 3-1.

Cornwall manager Jon Williams commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
