Scorpions Earn 9-1 Home Win
|
2021 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Hialeah Firecats.
The performance of Bryan Sheary proved critical in helping Sonoma beat Hialeah, 9-1. The Scorpions left fielder went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The Scorpions have an impressive 67-33 record.
With Sonoma leading 4-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Sheary hit a changeup from Etienne Erbetto for a 3-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Scorpions ahead, 7-1.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Sheary said.
