Dave Pimenta did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Sonoma Scorpions from being beaten, 5-4, to the Stockton Ragin Cajuns at Ballpark of Stockton. Pimenta went 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 times. Jeff Bidwell recorded his 8th save for Stockton. The Ragin Cajuns win now puts them at 64-35.

Stockton took a 5-4 lead on Devin Terry's 12th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Terry hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Sonoma pitcher Steve Shewmaker visibly frustrated.

Said Stockton manager Jeffrey Troke: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."
