Indianapolis Bats Go Silent in 2-0 Loss
The Chicago Gangsters locked up a win at The Hideout, knocking off the Indianapolis Eagles, 2-0. On the mound for Chicago was right-hander Sam Palacios. He played a major role in the triumph. Palacios, now 3-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Keith Kramer, who is tied for 7th in the AC in saves with 11, nailed down the save.

Justin Wish had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Chicago. He came through with a solo home run to put Chicago in front, 2-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Palacios told the Chicago News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The second-place Gangsters go to 26-43.
