Vermont overcame a heroic effort from Mike Mudge to down Miami, 2-1, in 10 innings. The Miami pitcher threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball. T.J. Hoffarth picked up the win in relief. John Reynolds took the loss for Miami. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Milkmen.

Vermont got a clutch hit from Austin Alpers. The first baseman launched a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"Fans understand the heart of this club is really, really strong, beating all the time," said Milkmen manager Mike Barriga.
