Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Rafael Landim the Cornwall Royals defeated the Miami Boll Weevils, 6-1. Cornwall reliever Stuart Taylor picked up the win to move to 2-2. Tyler Kraus suffered the loss. The triumph puts Cornwall at 49-49 for the season.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Landim hit a grand slam home run off Tyler Kraus. It propelled the Royals into the lead, 4-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Landim told the Cornwall Chronicle.
