Bombardiers Resilient in 3-2 Win Over Augusta
The Cincinnati Bombardiers picked up a win at Ballpark of Cincinnati, dropping the Augusta Capitols, 3-2. Alex Martinez, who is tied for 10th in the W-AA in holds with 6, was the difference-maker. Steve Dunn picked up the win in relief for Cincinnati, while Jeff Cox took the loss. The win puts Cincinnati at 48-48 this season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Aaron Jackson in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a bases-clearing double off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Jeff Cox to win the game for Cincinnati. The home crowd went nuts.

"What a rush!" said a smiling Jackson.
