Augusta turned a good effort from starter Omar Sotelo into a win over the Vermont Milkmen at Emeralds Ballpark. The final score was 2-1. Matt Schmidt finished the game for Augusta and earned his 11th save. The winning continues for Augusta, with the latest triumph making it 7 straight.
Bryan Agin, who is tied for 3rd in the W-AA in bases on balls with 52, took Vermont hurler Steve Quintero deep in the top of the fourth. His 2-run home run put the Capitols on top, 2-0. In all, Agin had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
