Ballpark of Cincinnati was the site for Western AA action featuring the Miami Boll Weevils and Cincinnati Bombardiers.

Brad Porretta, who is rated as the 26th best prospect by BNN, was terrific for the Cincinnati Bombardiers in his team's 5-0 triumph over the Miami Boll Weevils. His performance earned Porretta rave reviews. The Bombardiers move to 47-48 with the win, while the Boll Weevils drop to 41-54.

Porretta delivered a quality start for Cincinnati. The 6-foot-3 left-hander allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 7.1 innings of work.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Porretta.
