Desperados Pull Out Late Win, 4-3
|
Austin pitcher J.R. Mitchell had a large part in his team beating the San Diego Fleet, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Roberto Salazar earned the save, his 4th, for the Desperados. Austin goes to 5-2 with the win.
Eric Druin, who led the AC in hits with 181 in 2014, had a direct impact on the outcome. Druin contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Austin up, 4-3.
