The Hollywood Stars defeated the Phoenix Gladiators by the score of 8-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Matthew Little. Little was 3 for 3 with a double and 2 singles for the Stars on the day. Phoenix, with the loss, is still a robust 5-2.

Little had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Stars went on to win.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Little told the Hollywood Daily.
