San Francisco beat Daytona Beach at San Francisco Grounds, escaping with a 5-4 win. The win in large part was due to shortstop Jared Priest. He went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2. The winner was Sam Crider in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Jeff Adams took the loss. The Fire move to 31-36 with the win, while the Sea Turtles drop to 25-42.

San Francisco got a clutch hit from Matthew Little. The third baseman launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"No one player deserves all the credit when you win," Priest said. "And the same is true when you lose."
