Brawlers Lose By a Run at Tampa Bay
The Tampa Bay Captains earned a close win over the Cleveland Brawlers, thanks in part to Albert Fabian. The Tampa Bay left-hander, who finished 3rd in the AC in ERA with 3.47 in 2018, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Fabian, now 1-1, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Jesse Vecchio earned the save for Tampa Bay, his 1st of the year.

Steve Post, the 20th overall pick in the 2017 draft, aided the Tampa Bay cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
