Another day, another victory for the red-hot Austin Desperados.

Behind a solid performance from first baseman Jim Sykora, the Austin Desperados defeated the Dallas Dragons, 9-2. Sykora went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Desperados. Sam Campos, the winning pitcher, is now 7-2. He went 7.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits, while fanning 10 and walking 3.
