Gatica Delivers Walk-Off Win for Bombardiers
|
John Huber was brilliant in helping Cincinnati beat the Cornwall Royals, 3-0. Ryan Johnson snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-1 on the season. Matt Westerman suffered the loss. With this game in the books, Cincinnati is 37-56, Cornwall 59-34.
The decisive blow was delivered by Omar Gatica in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Matt Westerman to win the game for Cincinnati. The home crowd went nuts.
"This place was rockin'," said Gatica.
