A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the London Tigers and St. Louis Cavalry.

A good performance from third baseman Ed Montes de Oca helped the London Tigers defeat the St. Louis Cavalry, 7-3. Montes de Oca was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI for the Tigers. London is now 51-44, while St. Louis is 39-56.

Helping the London cause was Justin Wardlaw. In the top of the fifth, the 23-year old catcher had a run-scoring sacrifice fly to make the score 5-3, Tigers.

Wardlaw told a London News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
