|
Miami Boll Weevils starter John McClements pitched well against the Hialeah Firecats at Ballpark of Miami, leading his team to a win, 4-3. Miami pitcher Tony Hendrix earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Kevin Massey suffered the loss. Miami is now 50-42, Hialeah 28-64.
The game reached a climactic end in the bottom of the ninth. With Miami trailing 3-2, Dave Garcia delivered the decisive blow, stroking a fastball from Kevin Massey for a 2-run home run. Ballgame.
