Bombardiers, Salgado Pin Bad Loss on Royals

The Cincinnati Bombardiers beat the Cornwall Royals, 10-1, at Ballpark of Cincinnati. Edward Salgado, in particular, was impressive. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. At 46-45, the Bombardiers are currently second in the Western AA Coastal Division.
Bobby Ribera cracked a home run off Brent LaGesse in the bottom of the second. His 2-run blast put the Bombardiers on top, 2-0. In all, Ribera had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"I thought we played a nice game," Salgado told the Cincinnati News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
