The Vermont Milkmen weathered an outstanding game by Sonoma third baseman David Lovell to topple the Scorpions, 10-5. Lovell slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win makes Vermont 46-44.

Braxton Morris hit a bases-clearing triple off Jose Ceballos in the top of the second, which put the Milkmen in front, 3-0. Morris had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.

"We came out aggressive," said Milkmen manager Steve Reid. "We came out swinging the bats."
