Bombardiers Victorious at Cornwall, 5-2
|
Cincinnati Bombardiers starter Eddie Sarabia found his groove in his team's 5-2 win over the Cornwall Royals. Sarabia yielded 2 runs over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 9-7. With the win over Cornwall, the Bombardiers improved to 51-40.
Cincinnati used a well-timed hit by Alex Ochoa to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Bombardiers ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ochoa. "And not try to do too much."
