Milkmen Saddle Royals with 4-2 Loss

The game between Vermont and Cornwall is in the books, despite a little rain.
Pat Wilber, who is tied for 7th in the W-AA in innings pitched with 104.2, was locked in. The right-hander led the Vermont Milkmen to a 4-2 win against the Cornwall Royals at Emeralds Ballpark. The Milkmen, at 37-53, sit in third place in the Western AA Coastal Division.
Sean Heichel was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs for Vermont. The 23-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off Kevin Donahue. It was his 45th hit of the season.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Heichel.
