|
Hamilton Bulldogs pitcher Brice Shine was in fine form, leading his team past the Cincinnati Bombardiers, 6-0. The winner was Shine. He threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Lance Goecker. The Bulldogs raised their record to 56-34.
The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from catcher Sean Custis. For the game, Custis was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Hamilton a 2-0 lead.
