The Stockton Ragin Cajuns downed the Sonoma Scorpions, 4-0, at Ballpark of Stockton. Stellar pitching by Casey Levy had a lot to do with it. The left-hander, who is tied for 4th in the W-AA with a 10.1 K/9 rate, handcuffed his opponent all game. The Ragin Cajuns saw their win-loss record go to 38-52. At the same time, the Scorpions fell to 48-42.

In the bottom of the first inning, left fielder Mike Coker had a 2-run home run for Stockton. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Ragin Cajuns on top, 2-0.

"Casey was throwing strikes, locating well," said Stockton manager Jeffrey Troke.
