Scorpions Use Late Rally to Win
The Sonoma Scorpions defeated the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 8-6, at Ballpark of Stockton. Leading the charge for Sonoma was right fielder Tom Johnson. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Jeremiah Porter notched his 7th save of the season. The second-place Scorpions now have a record of 53-34.

Johnson had a big hit for Sonoma with one out in the top of the eighth. With Sonoma leading 5-4, Johnson hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Scorpions up, 8-4.

"Nice win for us," said Johnson. "Now we'll go after the next one."
