Multi-HR Game for Gaskins in 6-1 Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 26-year old left fielder Danny Gaskins, the Vail Tigercats defeated the Miami Boll Weevils, 6-1. The Western AA Central Division-leading Tigercats have a record of 53-36.

In the top of the first, Gaskins pounced on a 0-1 splitter from Ferhat Chiwocha and hit a 2-run home run. It put Vail on top, 2-0.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Miami manager Bill Murtha.
