Riding the 3-hit performance of the 26-year old third baseman Ross Myer, the Cornwall Royals defeated the Augusta Capitols, 3-1. Cornwall reliever Mike Revell was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Nolan Estes took the loss. With the victory, the Royals upped their record to 57-31.

In the top of the first, Myer had a run-scoring double for Cornwall. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Royals on top, 1-0.

Myer called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
