Coon Leads Scorpions to 7-3 Win Over Cavalry
The Sonoma Scorpions defeated the St. Louis Cavalry, 7-3. Left Fielder Tom Coon deserved a large share of the credit. Coon went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Scorpions. The winner was Jose Ceballos, who threw 98 pitches over 5.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 9 hits. The losses continue to pile up for St. Louis, which has now fallen 9 times in a row.
