Ragin Cajuns Win Squeaker, 2-1, Over Scorpions
The Stockton Ragin Cajuns dumped the Sonoma Scorpions, 2-1, in large part due to designated hitter Jaime Sherlock. On the day, Sherlock was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks for the Ragin Cajuns. Stockton is now 48-41. Sonoma is 52-37.

Stockton used the timely hitting of Walt Lepore to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Ragin Cajuns on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said Stockton skipper Jeffrey Troke.
