Ragin Cajuns Use Late Rally to Win
The Sonoma Scorpions got a sterling performance from pitcher Steve Bueno, but the Stockton Ragin Cajuns still prevailed, 5-3. Bueno threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Stockton reliever Rick Collins got the win, raising his record to 4-4. Shissho Matsuno was tagged with the loss. Ricardo Grados notched his 23rd save of the season.

Stockton used a timely hit from Matt Liebler to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Ragin Cajuns ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Liebler.

The Ragin Cajuns move to 47-40 with the win, while the Scorpions drop to 51-36.
