The Stockton Ragin Cajuns got a stellar performance from pitcher Matt Hanna, who handcuffed the Cornwall offense en route to a win, 4-1, at Ballpark of Stockton. The winner was Hanna. He threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Kevin Donahue. Ricardo Grados, who is tied for 3rd in the W-AA in saves with 22, earned the save for Stockton.

In the bottom of the third inning, the Ragin Cajuns grabbed the lead when John Platzer rapped a two-out single. Stockton was trailing 1-0, when Platzer hit a 2-run single off Stuart Taylor to put his team in front, 2-1.

Platzer told a Stockton Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

The Ragin Cajuns raised their record to 46-40.
