The Cornwall Royals beat the Miami Boll Weevils, 18-4, at King George Park. Ross Myer, in particular, was impressive. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 7. Cornwall has now won 4 straight.

Myer contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Cornwall in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 4-3, Myer took a curveball from Joe Bringman and stroked the home run to center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Royals to leap in front, 6-4.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Myer.
