The Hamilton Bulldogs converted a terrific effort from starter Edwardo Rodriguez into a win over the Augusta Capitols at Mariachis Ballpark. The Bulldogs won the game by a final score of 4-2. Ryan Middaugh got the save, his 2nd in 5 chances. After today's action, Hamilton sits at 53-33, while Augusta falls to 49-37.

The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from catcher Sean Custis. For the game, Custis was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Hamilton a 4-0 lead.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Rodriguez. "It sure beats the alternative."
