Garcia belts 2 home runs in Tigers Win
|
The rain could not keep the home crowd from enjoying a good ballgame.
Oscar Garcia had a 3-RBI game, during London's 5-4 triumph over the Hialeah Firecats. Garcia contributed 1 single and 2 home runs to the cause. Willie Trevino got the win, improving to 1-1. He worked 5 innings, giving up no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2.
Garcia had a big hit for London with no one out in the bottom of the fifth. With London leading 1-0, Garcia hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Tigers up, 3-0.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Garcia.
London bumps their record to 44-40 with the win.
