The Augusta Capitols picked up a win at Ballpark of Stockton, topping the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 4-3. On the mound for Augusta was right-hander Paul Williamson. He played a principal role in the triumph. Augusta reliever Colby Heim picked up the win, raising his record to 3-4. Oscar Casas was tagged with the loss. Steve Ray closed out the game, earning his 3rd save.

Matt Tindall came through with a big-time hit for Augusta. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Williamson.

The first-place Capitols have won 6 consecutive games.
