Ragin Cajuns Suffer 8-3 Home Defeat
Vail pitcher Mike Brown did his part in helping his team beat the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 8-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The winner was Brown. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Matt Hanna. Vail now owns a record of 50-32.

The Tigercats got a big at-bat from designated hitter Danny Gaskins, who in the top of the fourth hit a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Tigercats on top, 6-0.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Gaskins after the game.
