The inspired effort of Hamilton center fielder Joel Angulo was not enough to prevent a loss, 5-3, to the London Tigers. Angulo was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. London reliever Travis Gross picked up the win, while Dave Combs took the loss for Hamilton. The Tigers now have a record of 44-38 with the win over Hamilton.

London took a 5-3 lead on Sam Salas's 10th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Salas hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Hamilton pitcher Dave Combs visibly frustrated.
