Sea Dogs Earn 7-5 Win Against Reapers
|
The Charleston Sea Dogs defeated the Carolina Reapers, 7-5, in 10 innings. Charlie Paquin, who is tied for 2nd in the NC with a .408 on-base percentage, played a big role. Paquin was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 3 walks for the Sea Dogs in the win. With the win, Charleston raised its record to 39-25.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ryan Forsythe? The Charleston third baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Sea Dogs on top, 6-5. For the game, Forsythe had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"Our team showed some spunk," said Forsythe.
