Bulldogs Handle Stockton, Snag 4-3 Win
|
The Hamilton Bulldogs picked up a win at Mariachis Ballpark, knocking off the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 4-3. Starting pitcher Brice Shine was a big reason why. Shine got the win, improving to 5-3. He gave up 9 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Hamilton now has a record of 50-29 with the win.
Nick Nunley took Stockton hurler Oscar Casas deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 3-run home run put the Bulldogs on top, 4-2. In all, Nunley had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Brice gave us everything he had," said Hamilton manager Emmanuel Montano.
