Ragin Cajuns Top Bulldogs in Extras, 3-1
|
In a low-scoring contest, Stockton pitcher Gregorio Argueta was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-1 win. The win belonged to Oscar Casas in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Blake Ware took the loss for Hamilton. Stockton is 5th in the Western AA Central Division with a record of 34-44.
Stockton needed the clutch hitting of Mike Coker to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the 15th inning to put the Ragin Cajuns on top, 2-1. For the game, Coker had 1 home run and 1 single in 7 at-bats.
"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Argueta.
