The London Tigers powered past the Sonoma Scorpions, 11-3, at Ballpark of Oklahoma City. Andy Acosta provided some of the pop. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Nelson de Lira notched his 1st save in 1 chances. With the win, London upped its record to 51-27.

Jimmy MacDonald had a big bases-clearing triple for the Tigers in the bottom of the first inning. With London trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Justin Buchan and swatted a triple to center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Tigers ahead, 3-1.

"We didn't play well enough to win," said Sonoma skipper Elias Nunez.
