The Cornwall Royals defeated the Vermont Milkmen, 1-0, in Western AA action at King George Park. Cornwall pitcher Rob Stech had a standout performance. The Royals now have a record of 46-30 with the win over Vermont.

Sean Trahan drove in one run for Cornwall. The 25-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Vicente Perez. It was his 19th RBI of the season.

"Rob didn't monkey around out there," said Cornwall field general Jon Williams.
