Big Day for Lomeli in 9-6 Scorpions Win
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Sonoma fans at Ballpark of North Richland Hills.

A 5-RBI performance from designated hitter Luis Lomeli led the Sonoma Scorpions to a win over the Hialeah Firecats, 9-6. The second-place Scorpions improved to 41-35.

Lomeli had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Scorpions went on to win.

"We came out aggressive," said Scorpions manager Keith Young. "We came out swinging the bats."
