Scorpions Rally Late to Nip Boll Weevils
The Sonoma Scorpions beat the Miami Boll Weevils, 7-6, in 10 innings at Ballpark of North Richland Hills. Nate Galloway, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Sonoma has an impressive 53-23 record.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Sonoma trailing 6-5, Galloway jumped on a cutter from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Dave Vondrasek and hit a 2-run home run to center. With one swing, the Scorpions had a walk-off win.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Elias Nunez, the Sonoma skipper.
