Tarjei Wiese was nothing short of phenomenal for the Cornwall Royals. The 22-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Vail Tigercats, 5-0. At 43-31, the Royals claim first place in the Western AA Coastal Division.

Wiese kept the Tigercats under his thumb. He scattered 5 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 10. The right-hander upped his season record to 3-1.

"From the first pitch, Tarjei was ready to rock and roll," said Cornwall manager Keith Young.
